Weights of discontent as MWF hit out at NSI but institute stand by decisions

PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Weightlifting Federation (MWF) may have surpassed their three-gold medal target at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, but the body remain unhappy with the National Sports Institute (NSI).

MWF president Datuk Ayub Rahmat (pic) revealed that less than 10 days before the competition began, several decisions made by the NSI placed unnecessary pressure on the national squad and affected their focus.
