PETALING JAYA: Woman lawn bowler Emma Firyana Saroji believes her rise to world No. 1 spot has come at the perfect time as she gears up for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow starting next Thursday.

Emma topped the latest World Bowls Series rankings released this month with 787 points, while fellow Malaysian Alyani Jamil is second on 710 points.
