Malaysian hockey great who scored twice at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics and later coached the national team to the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. He won the Best National Coach Award in 1999.

Wong Choon Hin (hockey)

Former national hockey captain who featured at the 1972 Munich and 1976 Montreal Olympics. A bronze medallist at the 1974 Asian Games, he earned over 80 caps.

Kevin Nunis (hockey)
Age: 65 (June 28, 2025)
Former national hockey player and Olympian who competed at the 1984 Los Angeles Games and two Asian Games. He later coached Terengganu and led the National Hockey Development Programme.

Shaharuddin Jaffar (cycling)
Age: 84 (March 18, 2025)
Malaysia’s first cycling SEA Games gold medallist, winning the 800m mass start at the 1965 SEAP Games. He later served as Malaysian National Cycling Federation secretary from 1970 to 1984.
