And it paid off handsomely. Muay thai exponent Angie Yan Jia Chi (pic) not only delivered gold for Malaysia, she even stunned world champion Thongduang Thanawan in the final, scoring 9.33 points to take the women’s wai kru (non sparring) gold at Lumpini Stadium yesterday.
