Thais build for future

THAILAND is investing heavily in infrastructure to ensure the SEA Games 2025 leaves a lasting impact. More than 2 billion baht (RM260mil) has been allocated not just for the Games but also for the Asean Para Games in January 2026.

Upgraded venues, smart ticketing systems, and digital fan engagement platforms are being introduced, while 5G connectivity is being rolled out to enhance the spectator experience.

‘Amazing bag’ at Thai airports

AS athletes continue to flock in and out of Thailand for the SEA Games, the Thai Tourism Authority have been handing out the “Amazing Bag” to athletes – filled with gifts and items sourced from local communities.

A simple gesture that symbolises Thai hospitality to their Asean neighbours from the moment they set foot in Thailand.
