Portable lawn bowl rinks will carry weight in giving athletes an edge


PETALING JAYA: The newly installed portable lawn bowl rinks for the World Cup, which begins today at the Bukit Kiara Sports Complex, are expected to give Malaysian athletes a competitive edge.

Malaysia has made history as the first Asian nation to own such portable rinks, which were purchased by the Malaysia Stadium Corporation (MSC) from the United Kingdom for RM1mil.
