PETALING JAYA: The sight of a new face from China brought early jitters to para powerlifter Bonnie Bunyau Gustin at the World Para Powerlifting Championships.

But the 26-year-old Sarawakian stood solid to clinch his fourth world title in the men’s up to 72kg category in Cairo, Egypt, on Wednesday to show that he is still the undisputed champion after winning in 2019, 2021, and 2023.
