Valiant Eain Yeow falls to France's Crouin in Open Squash Classic semis

PETALING JAYA: Ng Eain Yow went down fighting in the semi-finals at the Open Squash Classic in New York on Wednesday (Oct 8).

Third seed Eain Yow put on a valiant performance before losing 7-11, 4-11, 11-7, 11-6, 4-11 against second seed Victor Crouin of France, in an hour and 16 minutes match at the FiDi Squash Club.

It was Crouin’s second win against Eain Yow out of five previous meetings, having also won their recent matchup at the British Open second round in June.

World No. 12 Eain Yow was denied his second final appearance of the year, after falling to England’s Marwan ElShorbagy at the Squash on Fire final in April.
