Magnificent seven: The Malaysian women’s Under-21 team celebrating their historic victory in the Asian Canoe Polo Championship.

PETALING JAYA: Host nation Malaysia rejoiced with their best ever outing as the 19th Asian Canoe Polo Championships came to a close in Putrajaya yesterday.

The national Under-21 women’s team made history after staging a dramatic comeback to beat Singapore 4-3 in extra-time in the final to secure the first ever triumph in canoe polo.
