Norza’s redesignation will help protect RTG from political uncertainty


PETALING JAYA: The decision to redesignate Tan Sri Norza Zakaria as Road to Gold (RTG) deputy chairperson is to protect the programme from political uncertainty, Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh explained.

Hannah and Norza, who is the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) president, had previously co-chaired RTG since it was launched in early 2023.
