No star performer but jiujitsu two-man team ready to battle for gold

PETALING JAYA: National jiujitsu SEA Games squad have lost star performer Cassandra Poyong as her categories will not be contested in Cambodia but they have not thrown in the towel.

Cassandra won the prestigious International Brazilian Jiujitsu Federation (BJFF) World Masters gold (women’s gi below 58.5kg) in Las Vegas in September last year and secured a bronze in the Asian Championships in Bangkok (gi below 57kg) last month.
