MALAYSIA’S top figure skater Julian Yee has earned himself a major boost in his bid to defend his SEA Games crown.

In the short programme held at the SM Mall Ice Skating Rink in Mandaluyong yesterday, Winter Olympian Julian came out tops after scoring 63.400 to give him an advantage ahead of the free skating event on Sunday.
