Yap, Sara succeeds

High flyer: Malaysia’s Sara Yap Khim Wen in action in the women’s individual poomsae semi-finals againts Iran’s Salahshouri Marjan yesterday.

TAEKWONDO exponent Sara Yap Khim Wen came to the Indonesian Asian Games with a mission - to popularise poomsae in Malaysia.

And the 24-year-old believes she has done just that after shrugging off knee and ankle injuries to claim the bronze medal in the women's individual poomsae at the Jakarta Convention Centre yesterday.
