KUALA LUMPUR: The women's triples team picked up Malaysia's third gold medal in lawn bowls at the National Lawn Bowls Centre in Bukit Kiara on Friday.
The team of Zuraini Khalid, Noorazlinda Zakaria and Azlina Arshad defeated the Philippines 19-11 in the final.
Earlier, Mohd Fairus Jabal, Mohd Syamil Syazwan Ramli and Mohd Amir Yusof defeated their counterparts from Brunei 19-9 in the men's triples final.
A total of eight gold medals are up for grabs in lawn bowls.
On Thursday, the women's fours won the first gold.
