Azroy emerges as overall champion


PETALING JAYA: Rider Azroy Hakeem Anuar took the MAM Malaysian Superbike Championship crown after a back-to-back victory at the Sepang International Circuit over the weekend.

The Honda Racing Malaysia rider was clinical with his pace at the circuit, taking the win in Race 1 on Saturday after charging from behind.

Race 2 saw the same astounding speed from Azroy as he took the win once again and the overall MSBK1000 A title ahead of Hong Leong Yamaha Malaysia’s Kasma Daniel Kasmayuddin, while Azroy’s teammate Mohd Helmi Azman took third in the race.

Azroy’s commanding victories saw him crowned overall champion, while Kasma settled for second ahead of Helmi in third in the championship.
