Motor racing-Red Bull's Mekies taking no credit as Verstappen narrows F1 gap

(Reuters) -Red Bull boss Laurent Mekies is refusing to take any credit for the Formula One team's improved performance since the Frenchman replaced Christian Horner at the helm in July.

Four-times world champion Max Verstappen has won twice since Mekies arrived six races ago and has been on the podium in the last four races, finishing second in Singapore last weekend.
