Hafizh Syahrin's place as first Malaysian MotoGP rider confirmed

KUALA LUMPUR: Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah (pic) has been confirmed to ride full-time for Monster Yamaha Tech 3 for the new MotoGP season following his performance in testing in Buriram, Thailand last week.

The 23-year-old is the first Malaysian rider to enter the premier class of the world full-time as he joins two-time Moto2 world champion Frenchman Johann Zarco in the team's line up.
