England hand Malaysia a 3-1 defeat to close Group E campaign


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s junior hockey team ended the group stage of the Junior World Cup with another defeat, this time falling 3-1 to England on Tuesday (Dec 2).

The final Group E match at Madurai Stadium in Tamil Nadu saw Nor Saiful Zaini’s side fall behind as early as the fourth minute through a penalty corner conversion by Henry Markham.
