PETALING JAYA: New national hockey team head coach Brendon Carolan knows he has no choice but to hit the ground running when he begins his role on April 1.

The 46-year-old Carolan has only a few months to address glaring weaknesses and prepare the team for a demanding run of major competitions, but the South African is far from worried.
