PETALING JAYA: Malaysia held off a strong comeback from New Zealand to win their first match at the Sultan of Johor Cup (SOJC) yesterday.

Playing their third fixture of the tournament, the Young Tigers fended off the Kiwis to win 4-2 at the Taman Daya Stadium in Johor Baru.
