PETALING JAYA: The national hockey team earned a valuable point in the World Cup after they held South Africa to a 3-3 draw to keep their hopes of finishing at least 13th alive in Belgium.

Malaysia’s Azrai Aizad Abu Kamal gave his side the momentum at the start of the classification group match as he opened the scoring in the 14th minute.
