Keeper Zaimi gets another chance to don national colours


Tough luck: Injury had deprived Zaimi Mat Deris of a spot in the Speedy Tigers squad for the Nations Cup in South Africa.

PETALING JAYA: Goalkeeper Zaimi Mat Deris was jumping for joy when he received his first international cap during the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup last year.

A 7-2 win over South Africa in that match on Nov 6 revived Malaysia’s form and they went on to win their first Cup victory.
