Gymnast Rachel swings to gold again as M'sia enjoy fruitful day in gymnastics


Superb: Rachel Yeoh shines again the SEA Games.

BANGKOK: National gymnast Rachel Yeoh Li Wen proved her class when she clinched gold in the uneven bars in the artistic gymnastics in the SEA Games. 

Rachel, who also captured the crown in the event at the 2021 edition in Vietnam, scored 13.300 to triumph again at Thammasat University in Pathum Thani on Thursday (Dec 11). 

Vietnam's Nguyen Thi Quynh came in second, 

In the vault, Malaysia's Yeap Kang Xian won bronze with a score of 12.800.

In the men’s events, Luqman Al-Hafiz won silver in the floor exercise after scoring 12.833 while it was bronze for both Sharul Aimy, who scored 12.267 in the pommel horse.
