PETALING JAYA: National gymnast Mohd Sharul Aimy does not have to look far for inspiration. He can look to his good friend and regional rival Carlos Yulo of the Philippines.
While many had expected gymnasts from nations like Japan, China and Greece to do well, Yulo stunned them all to win two gold medals – in the men’s vault and floor exercise – at the Paris Olympics.
