Kim Minsu of South Korea on his way to victory at Saujana.
HEAVY rain disrupted the closing nine of the Saujana Amateur Championship at the Palm “Cobra” Course, forcing officials to juggle play around sporadic downpours to ensure the event was completed.
The three leaders, all tied on two-day totals of 139, enjoyed calm skies through the opening nine. And, it was South Korea’s Kim Minsu who seized the initiative, carding a two-under 34 to move one stroke clear of Australia’s Josiah Edwards and two ahead of first-day leader An Haecheon, also of South Korea, heading into the back nine.
