Off the mark: Ervin is now left with just two tournaments to earn the right to compete in the Asian Tour.

PETALING JAYA: Golfer Ervin Chang’s hopes of securing his playing rights on the Asian Tour next year hangs in the balance after a poor finish at the Taifong Open in Taiwan yesterday.

Ervin finished joint 42nd at the Taifong Golf Club, carding a one-over 289 total.
