LPGA Tour calls off Swinging Skirts tournament in Taiwan, again


THE LPGA Tour has cancelled the Taiwan Swinging Skirts tournament for the fourth consecutive year, citing “operational factors”.

According to agency reports, the LPGA said it is “thankful for chairman Wang, the Golf Association of the Republic of China and the Swinging Skirts Foundation team for providing opportunities for LPGA Tour athletes since 2014, and their continued dedication to growing women’s golf, as well as the countless fans and volunteers who supported the event”.
