Tour gets welcome support

Saujana is in good shape and would do well to host an event as they did last season when the inaugural Tun Ahmad Sarji Trophy was held there.

THE sponsorship of what was previously known as the Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Tour and will now be known as the Toytoa Tour is a welcome move that has piqued the interest of many in the game.

PGM Tour acting chairman Tan Sri Datuk Sri Hamad Kama Piah Che Othman announced last week that the Japan auto brand, under the auspices of UMW Toyota Motor, would serve as the title sponsor of the domestic circuit and that MST Golf would fill the role as its delivery agency, organising the events and running the tournaments.
