PETALING JAYA: Malaysia, powered by a superb final round of five-under 67 from Zia Izzudeen, finished seventh in the Nomura Cup men’s team championship in the Philippines.

The team, also comprising Malcolm Ting and Anson Yeo, finished the four-round competition on five-under 571, six shots ahead of Australia at the Manila South Golf and Country Club.
