Eagle and birdie in last two holes lift Shahriffuddin up


PETALING JAYA: Shahriffuddin Ariffin came good on the final day with a superb six-under 66 to end a four-year title drought by winning the Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Maybank Championship.

The 23-year-old played his way to the top with a spectacular eagle-birdie finish on the last two holes to finish three strokes clear of Daeng Abdul Rahman Abdul Aziz, who returned a four-under 68 at the Saujana Golf and Country Club yesterday.
