(Reuters) - Scott Jamieson maintained his one-shot lead at the halfway stage of the HSBC Championship in Abu Dhabi after carding a two-over-par 74 on Friday, while four-time major winner Rory McIlroy kept himself in contention to make it through to the weekend.

Overnight leader Jamieson entered round two at nine-under but moved backwards in windy conditions at Yas Links, like many of the rest of the field.
