The Malaysian Golf Association has updated its SOPs for golf clubs across the nation.

IN an update of their Mandatory Standard Operating Procedures (MSOPs) during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) this week reiterated that golf tournaments/events are allowed to resume and added that inter-state travel would require approval of the Police (Polis Diraja Malaysia – PDRM).

Among other things, the MGA said that tournaments are only to be allowed in Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) states and then also detailed the protocols for swab testing and the stipulation that the “player’s place of residence shall be in the same state (except Sabah) of the competition/event venue”.
