Gavin on course for second Olympics despite golf going off course

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s top golfer Gavin Kyle Green’s (pic) bid for a second Olympic Games appearance remains firmly on track despite the uncertainty over when the men’s major golf tours will return to action due to the worsening Covid-19 pandemic.

The 26-year-old is currently ranked No. 48 in the International Golf Federation (IGF) Olympic rankings which leaves him in a solid position to make the 60-man field for the Tokyo Games which has been rescheduled to July 23-Aug 8 next year.
