Korean top-two will qualify for the British Open


Royal Birkdale will host the British Open next year.

THE winner and runner-up of the 2017 Kolon Korea Open will receive exemptions into the British Open, golf’s most international Major championship.

They will become the first champion and runner-up in the history of Korea’s national Open to receive the exemption and will earn a place in the 146th Open at Royal Birkdale Golf Club in Southport, England next year.
