Saujana's 'Cobra' a big challenge in Maybank Championship Malaysia

Palm’s signature hole, the par-3 Hole 2 plays across a ravine 195 yards off the black tee.

PETALING JAYA: An improved Palm Course, which is also known by its nickname Cobra, will present an exciting challenge to the 156 golfers taking part in the second edition of the Maybank Championship Malaysia (MCM) from Feb 9-12 at the Saujana Golf and Country Club next year.

Facilities at the Palm Course were recently upgraded and certain sections of the course lengthened to get it ready for the US$3mil (RM12.28mil) tournament, which is jointly sanctioned by the Asian Tour and European Tour.
