PETALING JAYA: Super League winners Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) saw their hopes of a perfect season dashed after they drew 1-1 against Terengganu at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on Saturday (April 11).

JDT had won all 20 of their league matches so far and had already claimed their 12th title, but Terengganu emerged as the team to ruin their hopes of a clean record this season.

The Southern Tigers had struck first through Bergson da Silva in the 23rd minute on home ground, and it looked as if the usual goal fest from the giants was imminent.

But Terengganu’s Tajik midfielder Ehson Panjshanbe was the hero for the visitors after he found the equaliser in the 36th minute.

JDT’s last league draw came last season when they drew 1-1 against Police in July 2024.
