Malaysia drawn with Thailand in AFF Hyundai Cup


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia have been drawn in Group B of the AFF Hyundai Cup, where they will face South-East Asian giants Thailand.

Their first game will be against Myanmar, before taking on Laos and Thailand and then wrapping their group fixture against the Philippines.

The full match schedule, including venues and kickoff times, will be announced today.

Group A will have Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia and playoff winners between Brunei and Timor Leste.

The latest edition of the biennial competition, which was launched in 1996, will run from July 24 to Aug 26.
