In her speech, Qinglan highlighted the chamber’s long-standing commitment to strengthening economic, trade, and cultural exchanges and noted that Malaysia has become Shandong’s largest trading partner within Asean, while many Shandong enterprises such as Lanhua Group Malaysia Overseas Mall, Haier, and SITC Logistics have achieved remarkable success in the Malaysian market.
She expressed hope that the exhibition would serve as a strategic bridge to deepen bilateral business engagement and establish a benchmark platform for Shandong–Malaysia economic cooperation.
Meanwhile, Liu Jian introduced Linyi, Shandong — a renowned commercial and trade city in China — as well as the diversified business portfolio of Lanhua Group. He emphasized that Malaysia’s strategic location in South-East Asia, favorable business environment, and vast market potential make it a vital gateway for Shandong enterprises entering the Asean market.
This year’s exhibition showcases thousands of premium products from Shandong, carefully selected to meet Malaysia’s diverse consumer demands. Looking ahead, Lanhua Group plans to further strengthen operations of its Malaysia Overseas Mall to support enterprises from both countries in expanding internationally and to elevate China–Malaysia economic cooperation to new heights.
Lua congratulated the organizers on the successful opening of the exhibition. He remarked that Shandong, as one of China’s leading economic and manufacturing provinces, possesses a strong industrial foundation.
The exhibition provides an excellent platform for Malaysian businesses to explore Shandong brands while helping Shandong enterprises expand into the Asean market. He hoped the event would further enhance cooperation between Malaysia and Shandong in trade, agriculture, technology, tourism, and cultural sectors.
Qingjiu stated in his speech that Shandong has significant strengths in advanced manufacturing, modern agriculture, and intelligent equipment industries, while Malaysia offers advantages in strategic location, halal industries, and Asean market access.
The strong complementarity between both economies creates immense collaboration opportunities. He noted that the exhibition brings together quality enterprises and specialty products from both countries, providing valuable opportunities for brand promotion, business matching, and channel expansion. The association will continue leveraging its platform to promote deeper cooperation and mutual growth between Chinese and Malaysian businesses.

He encouraged both sides to deepen collaboration in food safety standards recognition, joint research and development, and brand-building initiatives to benefit businesses and communities in both countries.
Co-organised by Shandong Lanhua Group, the three-day exhibition gathers more than 160 participating enterprises from China and Malaysia. Exhibited products cover a wide range of sectors including food and beverages, hardware and safety products, automotive accessories, outdoor products, home textiles, office furniture, and more.
In addition to product exhibitions and business matching sessions, the expo will also host eight thematic forums, business networking sessions, livestream e-commerce showcases, and influencer engagement activities.

These practical sessions aim to empower enterprises to expand markets, identify business opportunities, and strengthen commercial partnerships, further advancing Shandong–Malaysia economic and trade cooperation into broader and deeper areas.
