JDT lift Malaysia Cup for third year running

PETALING JAYA: Johor Darul Ta'zim have lifted their third consecutive Malaysia Cup title by beating Pahang 2-1 at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Saturday (April 26).

Winger Arif Aiman Hanapi was the hero for the Southern Tigers when he scored the winning goal in the 74th minute.

Pahang earlier took the lead through winger T. Saravanan in the 14th minute.

JDT got their equaliser through Brazilian striker Bergson Da Silva who buried from the penalty spot in the 53rd minute.

JDT also completed their third consecutive quadruple this season as they have won the Charity Shield, Malaysia Cup, FA Cup and Super League.

They also did it in 2022 and 2023.
