Soccer-Neom promoted to Saudi Pro League for first time

(Reuters) -Neom Sports Club secured promotion to the Saudi Pro League for the first time as they beat Al-Arabi 3-0 on Tuesday.

With four games remaining, Neom moved to 69 points at the top of the standings, 15 points ahead of third-placed Al-Adalah, with the top three being promoted to the Pro League.

The second tier league wrote on its website in its matchday preview that it would be the first time that Neom had been promoted to the Pro League.

Neom are one win away from their maiden second division title as they lead second-placed Al-Najmah by 10 points.
