PETALING JAYA: Spanish midfielder Juan Muniz scored a spectacular double as Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) beat Sabah 4-0 in the Super League at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on Saturday (Jan 11).

Muniz curled in a beautiful freekick past Sabah goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi Che Mat to give the Southern Tigers their first goal in 51st minute after the first half ended with both sides playing equally well.

And shortly later, Muniz finished off a superb passing movement from his teammates by thumping a left-footed shot from a tough angle in the 68th minute.

Da Silva scored his 22nd goal of the season after burying a penalty in the 78th minute. He got his second of the night with a brilliant solo in the 82nd minute.
