(Reuters) - Aston Villa boss Unai Emery said he was at a loss to explain how his side threw away a 2-0 lead in Saturday's 3-3 home draw against Brentford which dented their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League next season.

Villa were leading 2-0 with a little over half-an-hour to play when Brentford scored three goals in nine minutes before Ollie Watkins netted an equaliser to salvage a point.
