Football: Kelantan FC denied entry into Super League for 24/25 season

PETALING JAYA: It is a no-go for Kelantan in the Super League.

The Malaysian Football League (MFL) has issued a statement saying that the East Coast club would not be given a license to compete in the Super League 2024/2025 season.

This decision was made because Kelantan FC has failed to complete two Financial Criteria under sub-criteria F.04 (No Payables Overdue Towards Employees, LHDN, EPF, Socso & EIS – As of June) and sub-criteria F.11 (No Payables Overdue Towards Employees, LHDN, EPF, SOCSO & EIS – As of August) before the set deadline of Nov 30 and Dec 31, 2023.

However, Kelantan has been allowed to submit an appeal to the MFL Club Licensing Appeals Body before the deadline on Jan 8 before 5pm.
