PETALING JAYA: Ryan Khaliq intends to make full use of his experience in the Milo x FAM (Football Association of Malaysia) Ultimate Experience to build on his sports career.
The member of the Milo Junior Champions League Under-10 championship winning team is one of the 116 players selected to experience professional football.
Ryan was grateful for the opportunity and believed that he had gained valuable experience.
“I’m honoured to be in this programme conducted by Milo,” said Ryan, who is from Velocity Football Academy.
“This experience inspires me to progress further in my footballing career and hopefully, I can play for Harimau Malaya in the future.”
FAM’s head of grassroots and national Under-20 women’s head coach Cameron Ng has faith in the young players after seeing their commitment, seriousness and sportsmanship throughout the programme.
“The players appear to have high aptitude and I believe that they are on the right track. The skills learnt here will prepare them for their future,” said Cameron.
“Their growth also depends on the coaches who will guide them to achieve their full potential.
“At the leadership level, we will continue to support Milo’s initiatives to ensure that training for both children and coaches will go hand-in-hand to create a holistic ecosystem.”
Milo has played a significant role in assisting the development and empowerment of young footballers for the nation and has a long history of supporting grassroots programmes with the FAM.
