It’s cool to have Cools

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia coach Tan Cheng Hoe can heave a sigh of relief as he’s assured of reinforcement in the form of centreback Dion Cools (pic) as the team prepare for their do-or-die Group B clash against Indonesia in the AFF Suzuki Cup on Sunday.

The Denmark-based Cools will fly in to join the Harimau Malaya in Singapore tomorrow and his presence will be a much needed booster as the defence is weakened after stalwarts Shahrul Saad and Aidil Zafuan Abdul Radzak suffered injuries in the 3-0 loss to Vietnam.
