Velez cuts a bold figure in effort to help Felda survive


PETALING JAYA: Felda United’s Argentinian striker Nicolas Velez has taken the bold step of taking a pay cut as he looks to secure the team’s future in the Super League, which has been suspended due to the movement control order (MCO).

While most players in the Malaysian League are still mum over whether to take a pay cut or salary deferment, Velez’s move seems out of the norm - but he’s up for it.
