Sarawak grab last spot to Malaysia Cup quarter-final after JDT draw

PETALING JAYA: Sarawak have clinched the final Malaysia Cup quarter-final slot from Group B after holding Super League champions Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) to a 1-1 draw at the Larkin Stadium.

Liberian centreback Gerhardt Nyema was the hero for the Crocs – scoring the equaliser in the 48th minute after midfielder Amirulhadi Zainal had put JDT in front in the 37th minute.
