PETALING JAYA: Coach Zainal Abidin Hassan was grinning from ear to ear after Pahang showed resilience once again to reach the Malaysia Cup semi-finals.

Despite being reduced to 10 men after Jamaican defender Damion Stewart was given the sack in the 84th minute against Police in the return leg at the Shah Alam Stadium on Saturday, the Elephants prevailed 2-1 to reach the last four on a 3-2 aggregate. Supersub Mohd Fauzi Roslan was the hero, scoring a last-gasp winner.
