Malaysia Cup: Groups B and D still wide open


Kedah's Namkung Woong dribbles past two Terengganu players in their Malaysia Cup group match at the Sultan Ismail Nasirudddin Shah stadium in Kuala Terengganu on Saturday. The match ended 2-2.

KUALA TERENGGANU: On a day when none of the teams managed to book their places in the quarter-finals, Terengganu and Kedah played out an exciting end-to-end stuff at the Sultan Ismail Stadium to share points in their Malaysia Cup Group B match.

In the 2-2 draw, the Turtles went ahead through Ashaari Shamsudin in the 35th minute before Kedah’s Baddrol Bakhtiar equalised a minute before the break.
