Platform ace Kimberley targets more medals in springboard

Display of versatility: Kimberly Bong, seen here competing in the women’s 10m platform final of the 2018 Commonwealth Games, will be focusing on springboard events at the SEA Games.

PETALING JAYA: Kimberly Bong started out as a platform diver, but had to switch to springboard over the last one year due to niggling injuries.

The Sarawak-born diver now has a chance to bask in the spotlight if she can hold her own in the SEA Games women’s 3m springboard diving competition in Phnom Penh next month.
